Named after Roy Barrow who cultivated this species at Royden Orchids, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, England. Native to Peru. No collection data exists. Obtained from Manuel Arias, of Lima Peru and cultivated at Royden Orchids, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, England.
Sepals cream, diffusely spotted with rosy brown. Tails broad, red-brown; lip white.
Apparently, there is only one plant of Dracula barrowii left in cultivation.
